LAARK Records a choisi le Magazine Club de Lille pour sa toute première Label Night ! Le label Belge, créé par Dave Davis, s’impose déjà sur la scène Européenne, avec une direction artistique à la croisée des chemins entre Techno et House. Favorisant la qualité à la quantité, le label compte déjà dans ses rangs des gros noms : Ramon Tapia, Sierra Sam, Kiko, Denis Naidanow ou Olivier Giacomotto, et bien évidemment Dave Davis, qui compte plus de 25 ans de musique derrière lui et des collab avec les plus gros : Morcheeba, Kiko ou Kolombo…

► RAMON TAPIA

Une Maman Néerlandaise, un Papa Chilien (révolutionnaire et musicien), et l’influence du climat musical Belge, c’est le métissage culturel qui a donné naissance à la musique de Ramon Tapia. Signé sur tous les labels les plus cools, c’est avec le mythique Strictly Rythm qu’il explose en 2010 aux yeux de la planète et qu’il s’impose comme un incontournable, sollicité pour des remix par DJ Sneak, Monika Kruse, Marc Romboy et même… Armand Van Helden ! Sa dernière pépite ? Sur LAARK évidemment…

► DAVE DAVIS (LAARK LABEL BOSS)

Après plus de 2 décennies de carrière, il était normal pour Dave Davis de lancer son propre label.
Producteur, DJ et chanteur, c’est en 2002 que sort son premier album chez Universal avec Kiko, puis le single “In My Eyes” qui a été remixé par The Hacker.
La vraie bombe sort deux ans plus tard “Closer to Me” avec Chab, qui lui vaut un classement dans les charts, le meilleur titre de l’année à Ibiza, et, cerise sur le gâteau, un remix de John Digweed.
Depuis, il se consacre à son label, LAARK, mais s’offre le luxe de sortir en parralèlle quelques morceaux à droite à gauche, chez Loulou Records, ou Get Physical, la classe…

► DENIS NAIDANOW

Si son nom est moins connu en France qu’à Berlin, sa musique elle, est connue dans le monde entier, son morceau “Wonderland” étant l’hymne de la marque Paco Rabanne, qui l’utilise depuis plusieurs années dans sa pub pour “One Million”… dans le monde entier. Mais réduire Denis à ce morceau serait une erreur, tant l’Allemand est un producteur de génie !

Paco Rabanne Advert Music 2015 – Models and song information for the new ‘Lady Million’ and ‘1 Million’ TV commercial.

Song Title: Wonderland.

Artist/DJ: Denis Naidanow (Feat. Tyree Cooper).

Paco Rabanne’s latest ad for their 1 MILLION and Lady MILLION fragrances uses a track called ‘Wonderland’. Released in 2009, the song was produced by the DJ Denis Naidanow and features Chicago-born rapper Tyree Cooper.

This new ‘MILLION MASTERBRAND’ TV and online commercial was added to Paco Rabanne’s YouTube channel on the 16th of October, 2015, and has plenty more finger clicking going on.

Broadcast in black and white, the ad stars 26-year-old American male model Sean O’Pry and 24-year-old Czech female model Hana Jirickova.

Between them, the pair represent the French fashion brands 1 Million and Lady Million line of his and her fragrances.

If previous years are anything to go by, you should expect to see a lot of this advert on TV over the coming months, especially during that all important build-up to Christmas.

The lyrics from Wonderland that you hear in the above 30-second commercial are: ‘In wonderland, I can see you. C’mon. Let’s ride y’all. Do it again.’
